We are looking for our Client,one of the most important company in Energy field,for a Financial Controller.
Job Purpose:
- Responsible for the provision of accurate and timely financial accounts for our business company’s business in Romania:
- To comply with local Romanian fiscal authorities.
- To comply with US financial reporting requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring internal controls are in place and operating effectively, complying with company policy and SOX.
- To provide Operations Management and the Region VP with meaningful financial reports to assist them in running the business, work with management team and advise on operational finance issues.
- To develop and improve processes and procedures, including implementing new financial systems within the Finance function to improve accuracy and efficiency and comply with local and US policies.
Job Responsibilities:

Reporting:

| Indirectly Reports to: | Financial Controller, Germany. Region VP, Central Europe. |
| Directly Supervises: | 5 personnel in Romania Finance Department. |
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Qualified Accountant (recognised International Qualification such as CA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Qualified and experienced in Romanian accounting and compliance with fiscal authorities.
- Experienced with local VAT and tax regulations.
- Experienced in monthly management reporting.
- Trained/experienced in US GAAP accounting.
- Fluent in English language, written and spoken.
Preferred:
- Knowledge/experience of operations.
- Knowledge/experience of Sarbanes Oxley and other SEC requirements.
Experience/Skills:
Essential:
- Relevant PC skills
- Strong communication skills (both written & oral)
- Ability to use initiative, judgement and work with minimum supervision.
- Experience of supervising and motivating a team.
- Strong knowledge and experience in accounting practice and theory
- Experience of working closely with operational and other non-financial personnel.
